ABOUT BEN
Ben Cox is currently competing in the United Formula Ford Championship with Oldfield Motorsport, after at the end of 2023 finishing top 15 in the Walter Hayes Trophy.
Ben began karting at the age of twelve, after being diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome.
He has continued to race ever since, competing in Junior and Senior TKM karting before moving up into Formula Ford in 2021.
Ben, in his own words:
“Hi, I’m Benjamin Cox - also known as the Blue Racer. I was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome at the age of twelve; that year, I also started racing in Tyro Junior karting, which progressed into Junior and Senior TKM karting until today where I’m racing in Formula Ford with Oldfield Motorsport as their #82. I continue to race, and I do not want to give in!”
