Ben’s Thoughts
The largest Formula Ford event in the world took place last weekend and it was competitive as ever!
Qualified 10th on the grid for my heat and finishing 5th in the race 0.08 away from 4th, a great battle on the Saturday!
Sunday came and with an open mind, starting 11th for the Semi final finishing in the same place meaning I qualified for the grand final.
Grand final I started 21st and with a great first 2 laps I was challenging for the top 15 before my luck ran out as my car started to overheat and lost power on the straights dropping me back to 24th.
Overall another fun weekend though and showing again we’re in the thick of it! I loved competing at this event!
