Ben’s Race Report For Silverstone National R2 United Formula Ford
Ben’s thoughts:
Now that was a much better weekend! More of what we like to see by having much stronger pace and consistency plus great support from family, friends and sponsors turning up! Always great to see them.
This was definitely my strongest weekend in Formula Ford so far, with changeable conditions seeing me P6 in qualifying, slipping down 1 place to P7 in race 1. With race 2 having a similar outcome but final result saw me back in P6!
Pace overall was the strongest I’ve shown so far, and still finding areas for improvement whilst hanging onto some of the national runners again! Feels an even better result, considering the limited track time for Silverstone we were able to have at the weekend. As Gramp always says, who was there too, it is another reason to #keepsmiling!
Thanks to Souley Motorsport once again, especially to Brian for some solid feedback and advice all weekend along, with George for the mechanics side of it too! (and my friend Josh too haha!)
