Ben’s thoughts:

Being the sole Oldfield driver this weekend made it harder for us to develop myself and the car to be as quick as possible at a track no one has been on in 30 years. This made me stand out as all the other teams on the grid had 2 or 3 very experienced drivers to share and develop their setups more efficiently.

Along with the technical side of things with setup, came the physically draining aspect of it made by 8x 15 minute sessions on the Friday for practice in which I was the only one to be on track in every session due to the need of development, which i take a sense of pride that the training at Spit N Sawdust is paying off!

Despite feeling physically drained by race 2 I was still able to be running as high as 4th for the first half of the race following great starts in both races, and consistently fast lap times.

Throughout the weekend i cannot thank James and Peter enough for the insane speed on the spanners to get the car ready for each session and supporting me throughout the whole weekend, did a amazing job this weekend team!

Other thanks include my sponsors Banbury Bodyshop, SJB Hearing and Wilf the dog.
