Ben’s thoughts:

A mixed weekend for myself, first time at Brands with the Van Diemen didn’t get the results I was after but once again was an incredibly steep learning curve of a weekend.

A huge amount of teamwork from Oldfield was incredible this weekend, with a puncture in qualifying and a clutch master cylinder failure just before race 1 James and Peter did an insane job getting the car ready just in time. Amazing job this weekend team and well done for my teammate Brandon getting on the podium.

My races didn’t go as planned with an incident on the last lap saw me end up in the gravel in race 1, whereas in race 2 it was better running in P10 when the rain started to fall making process fighting for P8 in the changeable conditions I made an absolute mess of it but finishing in P10 was the best I could achieve this weekend.

Onto the next one at Castle Combe on the 26th of August, another track I’m yet to compete on. Let’s see how we go there!
