What a fantastically solid weekend that has been for me, the weather certainly couldn’t dampen my spirit as soon as I got to the track and saw it was raining I knew this was going to be a good day!
After some strong pace in practice on Friday both dry and wet I was excited for Saturday. The rain came down and my pace was seriously strong in as I qualified in P3 for the race. Whilst in the 2 races despite having poor starts in both races I managed to pull it back to trading fastest laps constantly at points gaining on the leader Romanek getting within a 2 second window at one point!
Overall I’m really happy my first ever fully wet races in FF1600, I’ll happily take that. Considering this has been only my second visit to Snetterton and with no additional testing I’m very pleased as I said in my post race interview, with that being on youtube!
